A man and his dog have been killed and a woman is seriously injured following a "tragic incident" involving a Royal Mail lorry.

The incident happened on Friday 14 December at around 4.20pm in Burnham-on-Sea.

A man in his 50s was walking his dog when the collision happened on Love Lane. They both died at the scene. A woman sustained serious head injuries and is being treated in Southmead Hospital.
