Lucky escape for pilot who crash landed upside down

A pilot who crash landed on border of Somerset and Wiltshire has managed to escape with no injuries.

Fire crews from Frome and Bradford on Avon were called to a site near the village of Norton St Philip at around 1.20pm on Friday (11 January) to find this light aircraft upside down.

The pilot had managed to get out before emergency services arrived and did not need medical attention.

Crews worked together to lift the aircraft off its roof.
