There are hundreds of schools closed across the West today. Many announced their closure yesterday in anticipation of the snow. But this morning the numbers of those shutting is expected to increase. Find out if you or your children's school is closed below:
There are still dangerous driving conditions on many of our roads and hundreds of vehicles have been abandoned across the network. The advice is to check before you leave.
Newquay Airport was closed until 10.30am due to the heavy snowfall.
It reopened around midday.
Bristol Airport has suspended flights until midday because the airfield is covered in snow.
Many of our hospitals have confirmed that services are running as normal.
Yeovil Hospital is open as usual and has plans in place to cope with the bad weather.
University Hospitals Bristol NHS Trust
Services at all hospitals operating as part of University Hospitals Bristol NHS Trust - including Bristol Royal Infirmary, Bristol Children's Hospital and St Michael's - are running as usual.
Southmead Hospital is running services as normal and appointment are continuing.
Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust
The Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital is open as usual. It last tweeted this advice to its patients yesterday (Thursday, January 31):
North Devon District Hospital
The North Devon District Hospital in Barnstaple is open as normal.
Musgrove Park Hospital
Musgrove Park say "most" of their services are operating as normal today - but physiotherapy outpatient appointments at Dene Barton Hospital are cancelled.
Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
The Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust say patients should attend any pre-planned appointments, where it is safe to do so.
In a tweet, the trust said patients will be contacted in advance if their appointment is cancelled.
Dorset County Hospital
Dorset County Hospital is open and running as normal.
Great Western Hospital
The Great Western Hospital in Swindon has told patients to not travel unless it is safe to do so.
