More than 35 firefighters spent the night battling a fire that broke out at an abandoned church in Torquay.

Smoke was seen billowing from the derelict church, formerly known as the Rainbow Fun House, on Thursday 14 February.

Seven fire engines from Torquay, Paignton, Teignmouth and Newton Abbot were called to the incident, along with extra equipment from Totnes and Danes Castle.

Devon and Somerset Fire has confirmed nobody was inside the building.
