Brexit protesters have vowed to bring traffic to a complete standstill on motorways across the West Country during evening rush-hour.

The drivers are expected to cause major disruption on main roads across the region during a series of 'Go Slow' protests, which are scheduled to start on Friday (March 22) evening.

The Brexit Direct Action group say the protests, which will reportedly take place on the M4 near Bristol, M5 in Devon and A30 in Cornwall, are in response to a “Brexit betrayal”.
