A 54-year-old man has died following a crash involving two cars and a lorry on the A30 in mid Cornwall.

It happened just after midnight on Saturday 30 March around two miles west of the Victoria Interchange.

A Renault Clio, an Audi A4 and a lorry were involved in the crash on the eastbound carriageway. The driver of the Clio, a 54-year-old man from Bodmin, died at the scene.

Two other people, travelling in an Audi A4, were taken to Treliske Hospital with moderate injuries and the lorry driver was uninjured.

Police are now appealing for any witnesses who may have seen the crash, or have any dash cam footage, to help with their investigation.
