The mother of a missing eight-year-old boy has pleaded with his father and suspected abductor, to return him home safely.
It's been a month since Karol Marmolejo Casas has seen her son Angelo, who will turn nine on Sunday. They had plans for a birthday party, which his mother still hopes he will be back for.
Angelo lives with his mother in Bristol and was reported missing on 2 March after his father Rafael Jurado-Cabello, failed to bring him home following a pre-arranged visit.
Avon and Somerset Police say they are now treating Angelo’s disappearance as a suspected child abduction. Detective Inspector Matt Lloyd says it is believed Rafael may have taken his son abroad.
Mr Jurado-Cabello in is breach of a court order put in place to protect Angelo's welfare. Police are working to locate the pair and have issued the following descriptions:
- Angelo has short wavy dark brown hair
- dark brown eyes
- is around 4ft 4in tall
- Rafael is a 43-year-old Spanish national
- has black hair
- is between 5ft 6ins and 5ft 7ins
