A van that became stuck at Brean Beach after being submerged by the tide has been removed safely.
Burnham’s BARB Search & Rescue team say the driver "misjudged the tide and left the vehicle parked on the beach near Brean Cove while going for a walk without realising it would be surrounded."
The vehicle rapidly vanished under the incoming sea water on Saturday 20 April.
The following day police had to seal off the area around the Transit Van after several beachgoers reported a strong smell of leaking fuel.
The van was safely removed on Sunday 21 April.
