Plymouth Argyle's caretaker manager Kevin Nancekivell says his team are "in a positive frame of mind" ahead of their vital final match.

The Pilgrims are now in the relegation zone with only one game left to play.

The 47-year-old, who took over this week following the sacking of Derek Adams, says it's been an "emotional rollercoaster".

He will make his managerial debut this weekend when they take on Scunthorpe United at Home Park.

Nancekivell says everyone has a part to play in maintaining a positive environment and he expects his team to come out "all guns blazing".

He's also praised Argyle's "brilliant fans" and says his players will be running as hard they can "to give them something to cheer about."
