Ben, the Staffordshire bull terrier who remains smiling despite all odds, has been waiting for a home for almost a year.

Ben would love a family that will teach him more new tricks. He also likes playing with toys and most importantly having cuddles on the sofa.

He added: "We can’t understand why he continues to be overlooked and hope to plead with people to give him a chance. We don’t give up on our dogs and believe there is someone out there for him."

Despite his predicament, Ben still has "the biggest grin on his face" and is praised for being an "intelligent boy who is eager to please and very quick to learn."
