A motorcyclist has died in a crash with a car on the A39 on Exmoor.
It happened on Saturday 11 May at around 4:20pm near Lynton.
Emergency services were called to the scene on the A39 next to Wingate farm.
The motorcyclist was given CPR by members of the public, including an off-duty nurse, but was pronounced dead at the scene by an Air Ambulance doctor.
The driver of the car was uninjured.
The stretch of road was closed for around five hours while investigations were carried out. It reopened at 9:55pm.
Officers from the Roads Policing Team and Serious Collision Investigation Team are now appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
