A man is recovering in hospital following a serious assault in Bristol.
Police were called to The Three Blackbirds pub on Stapleton Road in Easton in the early hours of this morning (18 May), following up on calls about a disturbance.
When they arrived they found a 19-year-old had sustained injuries to his head, hand and chest.
The man was taken to hospital, where he is said to be recovering.
His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
Officers have spent much of the day at the scene carrying out their investigation into the assault.
Avon and Somerset Police are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident who may have information to help them.
Police patrols in the area will continue throughout the day to provide reassurance to the local community and to receive information.
