A woman in her 80s has died after being found in the water at Torquay Marina.
Emergency services were called to the Devon town on Wednesday (May 22) morning, following concern for the welfare of a woman in the water.
Police, ambulance and the coastguard attended and the woman was recovered from the sea.
Paramedics performed CPR at the scene but the woman later died in hospital.
In a statement, Devon and Cornwall Police said it is not yet known how the woman came to be in the water.
The woman, in her 80s, was recovered from the sea and paramedics conducted CPR at the scene.
