Man and child injured after crash between three vehicles closes the A30

A man and a child have been injured after a crash on the A30 .

The road is currently closed in both directions due to to accident between a car, lorry and campervan.

Police, paramedics, the fire service and the air ambulance rushed to the scene shortly after 2.20pm, where the man was found to have serious injuries.

The extent of any other injuries is not yet known.

The road is closed from Daisymount Cross, Aller Grove, to Fenny Bridges, and the eastbound carriageway will be closed for several hours.

Congestion is backing to Exeter Airport on the eastbound side, and to the Honiton Junction.

Traffic is being diverted at Daisymount.
