The Cornish village of Bugle welcomed thousands today for the West of England Bandsmen's Festival.

More than 600 brass musicians marched through the streets, before competing against each other.

The event is in it's 95th year, and attracts bands from all over the UK.

It started in 1912 as a way to raise funds for a working mans club in Bugle and the first contest was so successful they decided to carry on and have just kept going ever since so it does attract bands and indeed audiences form all over the country and indeed from Europe as well.
