A child refugee risked his life by clinging on to the underside of a coach for more than 200 miles to get into the UK.

The 15-year-old's journey came to an end after he was noticed underneath the vehicle on the westbound carriageway of the M4 near Swindon, between junctions 15 and 16, on Monday evening.

It's thought the teenager boarded the coach in France and then travelled through Border Patrol in Dover without being detected. The boy, who is understood to be from Sudan, was arrested on suspicion of immigration offences and is currently in custody at Gablecross Police Station, in Swindon.
