Several train services have been cancelled or delayed after cows were struck by a train between Swindon and Didcot Parkway.
It's being reported that there were deaths among the herd.
Great Western Railway has confirmed that the 6.20 service from Weston-super-mare to London Paddington hit the herd of cows.
Roughly 30 cows were on the track which caused disruption to travellers across the West Country.
The line has now reopened.
Rail replacement buses are in operation and tickets are being accepted on local bus routes and alternative train services.
The disruption is expected until 11.00 this morning while the animals are removed from the tracks.
