A group of teenagers can be seen hitting the 35-year-old Domino's driver, with one even using a bike seat to strike the man.
The driver needed hospital treatment following the attack, and is now recovering at home.
Domino's Pizza says it is "shocked and appalled".
Those living in the Withywood area say the incident reflects what the community is like.
14-year-old Tara-Leigh Cox, who lives nearby, said: "I don't know what comes across their heads to do that to someone, like a grown man who is working to provide for his family".
Her mother Vicki Cox said the video made her feel sick. She shared the video hoping it might help parents recognise those in the group of teenagers.
An online funding page has been set up to support the delivery driver which has already raised hundreds of pounds.
