A man and a woman arrested in connection with the murder of a pensioner in Weymouth have been released on bail. Another man remains in custody.

Dorset Police was called just after 10am on Saturday 7 September by the ambulance service after reports of the sudden death of a 75-year-old man at an address on The Esplanade in Weymouth.

The death was initially treated as unexplained and enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the death have been carried out by detectives from the Major Crime Investigation Team (MCIT).
