Man arrested after two elderly passengers killed in car crash near Corston

Wiltshire Police are appealing for dash cam footage after two elderly people died in a car crash near Corston yesterday [September 16].

Emergency services were called to the A429 between Kingway Bridge and Corston Village at around 4.30pm after an Audi A5 collided with a Honda Jazz.

A man and a woman in their eighties from Buckingham, both passengers in the Honda, died at the scene.

The driver of the Honda, also a man in his eighties, was treated for minor injuries.

The driver of the Audi, a man in his thirties, also sustained minor injuries and was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

The road was closed for around 10 hours while police and authorities carried out investigations and cleared the wreckage.

Anyone who seen the crash, or anyone who has dash cam footage of either car before the collision, or the collision itself, should contact police if they have not already, on 101.
