Armed police descended on Nailsworth after masked men forced their way into a property and threatened the homeowner with weapons.

Officers were called out to a property in the Gloucestershire town last week following reports of an aggravated burglary.

It was reported that three men had forced entry into a house in Bridge Street and threatened the victim with weapons.

They took the victim’s car keys and a quantity of money but did not steal the victim’s car.

The offenders are described as being three men who were wearing all black clothing which consisted of jeans and hoodies as well as gloves and face coverings.

They left on foot and ran down Station Road before going through an alleyway onto George Street. A number of lines of enquiry have been conducted and officers would now like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and may have dashcam or CCTV footage of this taking place.
