Child ‘struck in face’ in daytime assault outside Bristol supermarket
Police in Bristol have issued an urgent appeal after a child was physically assaulted outside a Co-op store in the city.
Officers have released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to in relation to the attack, which happened outside the supermarket in Wells Road, Totterdown.
According to Avon and Somerset Police, the child - a young boy - was “struck in the face” by a man.
The incident happened around 11.45am on Tuesday, September 24.
The man pictured in the CCTV appeal has short dark hair and is wearing sunglasses.
He is also seen wearing distinctive clothing - including a dark t-shirt with the words ‘The Doctor’ and the number ‘46’ in fluorescent type on the front.
