Police appeal to find men in relation to alleged racist abuse at Yeovil Town match

Police are appealing for public help to trace three men in connection with alleged racist comments made at a football game earlier this month.

The match between Haringey Borough FC and Yeovil Town on October 19 was cut short when players walked off the pitch after what has been reported as 'racially aggravated' comments were made towards the London side.

Metropolitan Police officers are leading the investigation with the help of Avon and Somerset Police.

Two men who were arrested in Chard and Yeovil on suspicion of racially aggravated assault have been released on bail.

Anyone who recognises any of the three men is being asked to contact police on 101 quoting CAD 5272/19 Oct.
