Wall collapses in Bodmin as heavy rain causes landslide

Severe weather conditions have caused a landslide in Bodmin following prolonged heavy rain.

Pictures from the scene show a large section of a wall on Castle Street collapsed onto the road below.

Parts of the region saw winds of up to 100mph.
A yellow weather warning for rain remains in place across the West Country until midnight on Saturday.

The landslide left stones and debris on the road, forcing police to close the route.
