A few more showers to come today, followed by another cold night. Friday looks like a mostly dry day though.
We're stuck in a changeable pattern of weather systems at the moment. An area of low pressure today has brought the showers, but we'll be in a gap tomorrow before the next front arrives on Saturday.
There will be a few more showers this afternoon and evening but most places will become dry overnight. Showers will continue across west Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly though, along with brisk winds. Temperatures under clear skies will drop to around 2 degrees, giving fog patches and maybe some frost by morning.
A cold start on Friday then, with fog slow to clear for some of us, but a much drier day with fewer showers and more sunshine. Winds will be light but it'll still feel cold with temperatures reaching 11 Celsius.
A return to wet weather on Saturday as the next band of rain moves through, but Sunday is currently looking mostly dry and fine again. More rain is expected by Monday, so there's little change in the unsettled weather on the horizon.
