A young man arrested over multiple child sex abuse allegations at a nursery in Torquay has had his bail extended, police confirmed yesterday.
Detectives have contacted more than one hundred families during the inquiry into the alleged abuse of around a dozen children aged between two and five who attended the town's Jack and Jill nursery.
Police have scoured 250 hours of CCTV from the Shiphay based nursery which has since been suspended from opening.
The police said the former male worker had been bailed until January 22nd 2020.
Det Chief Insp James Stock said earlier this month:
These appear to be the actions of a lone individual and the offences do not involve the taking or distributing of any images.
Part of his bail conditions are that he lives outside Devon.
