Shocking footage shows moment burglars force entry into Frome home

Police have released shocking CCTV footage of the moment two men forced their way into a Frome home.

The video - which you can view in full below - shows two men entering a property in the Butts Hill area of the Somerset town at around 11pm on Friday, November 15.

The homeowner - a man in his 20s - suffered facial injuries including a fractured eye socket and a broken nose.

Items were also stolen during the incident, which Avon and Somerset Police are treating as an aggravated burglary.

The force has released this CCTV footage in the hope of identifying the two men, both of whom were described as having eastern European accents.

We want to identify the two men in the footage. The first is described as white, slim, in his late thirties, with short stubble on his face, 5ft 8ins/5ft 9ins.

He was wearing a neck warmer on his head, with a baseball cap, denim jeans and a black waist-length scruffy coat and a black bag. The second was white, of stocky build, in his early thirties, bald, 6ft/6ft 2ins, with a goatee-beard and wearing a plain cap and carrying a Nike holdall.
