Bristol City striker Benik Afobe has thanked football fans and clubs for their support following the death of his daughter.
The footballer’s two-year-old daughter, Amora, passed away on November 29 after suffering complications from a severe infection.
Afobe and his wife Lois announced the devastating news last week, which prompted a reaction from football fans and clubs across the country.
The former Arsenal forward has now posted on his Instagram account to thank all those who have reached out to offer their support.
Afobe joined the Robins on a season-long loan but is likely to miss the majority of the campaign after suffering a knee injury in September.
Following the family's loss, a number of clubs posted messages on social media while players including Aston Villa defender Tyrone Mings, Wolves' Matt Doherty and Leicester midfielder James Maddison made public gestures of support.
Afobe, 26, added: "I wish I could reply to every person that has messaged me.
"Thank you to every football club for posting a message and the world for being there for us."
