Firefighters clear feet of water through the night as Storm Brendan hits Dunkerton

A small village in Somerset has been hit by flash flooding after Storm Brendan brought continuous rain.

Firefighters worked into the night trying to drain several feet of water in Dunkerton, a few miles south of Radstock.

They reported that a number of houses were deluged by rainfall and run-off from surrounding hills.
