Police have launched an appeal after a homeless man’s guitar was stolen in Bristol.

The black Keiper 12-string guitar was taken from its owner - a 50-year-old homeless man - near We The Curious in Anchor Road last November.

The 46-year-old instrument is of great sentimental value, as it previously belonged to the owner’s late father.

Avon and Somerset Police have released a CCTV image of a person riding a bike who they would like to speak to in connection with the theft.

The black Keiper 12-string guitar in its case was stolen at about 11.40am on Wednesday 27 November.

Police are keen to trace the person riding a bike, who may be able to help the investigation. Officers also want to hear from anyone who may have been offered the guitar for sale.
