UK weather forecast: A much drier and brighter day across the West Country, and milder too

It'll be a chilly start to the day with a couple of showers around but on the whole a much less chaotic day than yesterday. In fact most will have light winds and some sunshine but there will be a little rain around the middle of the day across north Devon, Somerset and into Gloucestershire.

Winds will be from the southwest, and still brisk across Cornwall, but they will usher in much milder air meaning that we'll see temperatures climbing to double figures in places.

The rest of the week will stay on a changeable theme and become even milder with the low teens likely by Friday.
