We've got a few more of those cold, blustery showers for the rest of today, followed by a band of rain tomorrow. This will bring a cloudier and wetter day for most.
The rain is thanks to an area of low pressure, and there's another front moving through on Thursday. This one looks a little more short-lived but will give heavier rain.
Before that there's a spell of intense rain with gales, hail and thunder to move through just before this evening. After that it's back to some blustery showers but these will clear to leave a mostly dry night with lighter winds and lower temperatures. Parts of Gloucestershire and Wiltshire will drop to 2 Celsius, however, cloud and outbreaks of rain will reach the Isles of Scilly and Cornwall by dawn.
This rain will spread to all areas during the day so it's looking like a cloudier and wetter day, with winds strengthening too. Temperatures will be similar to today, rising to between 9 and 11 degrees, but it'll feel colder than this.
Another front will move through on Thursday giving heavier and more intense rainfall and stronger winds but it'll clear before dark to give some late sunshine. Friday looks like the best day of the week with some brightness and dry skies, but further spells of rain are expected to return on Saturday.
