Elusive Bristol street artist Banksy has said has said he is 'kind of glad' his Valentine's day piece in his home city was vandalised.
In a post on his Instagram page he said his initial sketch was a lot better.
The artwork that appeared in Bristol on Valentine’s Day was boarded up after it was vandalised.
The artwork, which features a young girl firing red flowers from a catapult, appeared on the side of a house in Barton Hill last week.
Banksy confirmed he was behind the piece by posting an image of it on his Instagram page on Valentine’s Day.
