The odd shower around today and a little cloudier than of late, but on the mild side with temperatures a little above average. The weekend looks even warmer for most of us.
That's because the high pressure that's been with us for a few days is repositioning to the south of the UK, drawing up warm southerly air and giving some of us temperatures in the high teens on Sunday!
It'll be mostly dry for the rest of today but there will still be the occasional shower as we head through the evening and overnight. Skies will be on the cloudy side too so nowhere will be especially cold, however, we'll have lows of 2 Celsius across Gloucestershire and Wiltshire.
A few further showers, across Devon and Cornwall in particular, on Friday morning, but otherwise a dry day with a little more sunshine than today. Winds will be light but temperatures won't be quite as high, reaching 12 degrees by the afternoon.
The weekend should be pretty dry too, with some sunshine around, especially on Sunday. That's when we'll have those warm southerly winds and highs of 17 or 18 degrees! It'll be a windy day though, and a band of rain will move through overnight, clearing by Monday to start the new week on a mostly fine theme.
