A man from Devizes in Wiltshire has been charged with assaulting a police officer on Tuesday evening, 14 April.
The officer in question needed stitches on an injured hand.
25-year-old Lewis Frost has now been charged with the following offences:
Assault of an emergency worker
Common assault of an emergency worker
Possession of a knife blade/sharp pointed article in a public place
Fail to provide a specimen for analysis
Breaking/likely to break bail conditions
Frost has been remanded in custody to appear before Swindon Magistrates Court.
