Cornwall explorer Robin Hanbury-Tenison returns home after 49 day battle with coronavirus

Cornwall based explorer Robin Hanbury-Tension has returned home after overcoming coronavirus.

Mr Tension was kept sedated for a month and was given just a 20% chance of survival.

He has defied all the odds and the doctors and nurses are in awe of his extraordinary recovery when they thought he would not pull through.

Robin was left critically ill in hospital and on a ventilator as he was sedated, and his condition further deteriorated as his kidneys failed and he needed dialysis.
