A children’s play area in Bradford on Avon has been “destroyed” following a suspected arson attack.

Fire crews attended the blaze on the newly-built Kingston Farm housing estate on Sunday (31 May) afternoon.

The fire caused significant damage to the equipment, and trees within a 20 metre radius were also charred.

Three teenage boys from the local area, aged between 15 and 16, were arrested on suspicion of arson but Wiltshire Police is appealing for more information.

We believe the fire was started deliberately and would be keen to hear from anyone who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area around the time of the fire.
