Gloucestershire hospitals pay tribute to those who have died from coronavirus as part of NHS campaign

Two hospitals in Gloucestershire were lit up in blue yesterday evening, Saturday 5th July, as part of an NHS campaign as it celebrates its 72nd birthday.

Across the country, people were encouraged to put a candle or a light in their window or light up landmarks in NHS blue, to remember all those who have died from coronavirus.

Gloucestershire Royal and Cheltenham General Hospital both took part in the Light it Blue campaign ahead of a special nationwide clap at 5pm today, Sunday 5th July, to celebrate the NHS' birthday.
