A former builder from Devon has been using lockdown to perfect his skills on a miniature scale.
Kevin Jackson, from Bideford, spends a whopping 300-400 hours to create incredibly intricate and realistic Tudor model houses which he sells for thousands of pounds to collectors all over the world.
Kevin also adds lighting and bluetooth technology to allow medieval music to play from the models. He says, "they look better when they're set up at night. I do build each one as if I'm building it for myself - I wont let it go until I'm 100% happy."
After 20 years building full-sized show homes, Kevin decided to downsize after painful arthritis lead him to retire. For the last nine years, he has turned to miniature models.
Kevin has just finished his 53rd house, which is currently awaiting shipment to Australia. He says lockdown has been perfect for responding to a rise in demand for his models.
