A marriage proposal awaited a runner at the finish line of the Bristol Half Marathon today.
Shaun Burchell proposed to Catherine Everard on the finish line after she completed the 13.1 miles in 2 hours, 5 minutes.
She said 'Yes' !

Bristol Half Marathon gets underway
Fifteen thousand runners are pounding the streets of Bristol in the annual Bristol Half Marathon, which is now in its 26th year.
The first wave of runners set off from the Harbourside at 9.30 this morning, and the second wave at 10am.
The first male and female runner to cross the line will each receive £1,000.
Final preparations underway for Bristol Half Marathon
Final preparations are taking place for the Bristol Half Marathon this weekend. 15,000 people are due to take part on Sunday morning. The 13.1 mile route starts and finishes on the harbourside and takes runners along the Portway and under the Clifton Suspension Bridge.
