A rail union will protest across the region today in a campaign against the removal of buffet cars on First Great Western trains.
The RMT says losing the buffet cars will lead to job losses and an 'upstairs downstairs' service on West Country trains. Events will be taking place at Bath Spa and Bristol Temple Meads from 7 o clock this morning.
Delays continue until at least 9am on First Great Western services between Bristol Temple Meads/Weston-super-Mare/London Paddington and Portsmouth Harbour and on Cross Country services between Bath Spa and Glasgow.
It follows an earlier incident on the line near Keynsham and is adding up to 60 minutes to journeys.

National Rail Enquiries say there is no firm estimate yet of how long disruption will last but it is likely to continue until at least 08:00.
As an alternative, passengers may use First Somerset and Avon buses between Bristol Temple Meads and Swindon / Westbury in both directions on route numbers 15, 18, X39, 184, 178, 267, 271, 272, 319, 338, 339, 264, 265, 231, 232, 234, 178 and 349.
