Woman arrested on suspicion of murder after man stabbed

A woman in her thirties has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was stabbed in Cornwall.

Police were called to a house in Bugle, near St Austell, last night just before 8pm. A man in his thirties had suffered a stab wound and was taken to the Royal Cornwall Hospital where he later died.

The woman remains in police custody and enquiries are ongoing.

Enquires are currently ongoing at the scene and officers will be speaking to a number of identified witnesses.

We believe that there were people in the area at the time who may have witnessed the incident or have information that may assist our investigation.

Armed police surround house in Cornwall

Armed police are surrounding a house in Cornwall following the arrest of a man in Bugle.

Police were called to the incident at 3.20 this morning.

Devon and Cornwall Police say they've arrested a man on suspicion of making threats to kill. They are currently trying to locate a second suspect.

Due to the incident, traffic is heavy in both directions on the A391 Fore Street at Rosevear Road.

Motorists are advised to approach the area with care.
