Bristol City knocked out of Carabao Cup

Bristol City FC have been knocked out of the EFL Cup by Manchester City FC, but not before putting up a fight.

City's Sané scored 43 minutes into the game, folowed by Agüero at 49' minutes and De Bruyne with a surprise goal right at the end in the 96th minute - ending the match with a 5-3 the aggregate in their favour.

Bristol City face QPR in the Championship at Ashton Gate stadium on Saturday, 27th January.

Bristol City have announced ticket details for next month's Carabao Cup semi-final first leg away to Manchester City.

Tickets will go on sale tomorrow for season ticket holders who have been to one or more away game. Other season ticket holders can then purchase tickets from Friday.

7,680
tickets have been allocated for away supporters at the Etihad Stadium.

Any remaining tickets will be made available for general sale from Wednesday January 3rd.

Bristol City will face the Premier League leaders over two legs with the winner facing either Chelsea or Arsenal in the final.

Bristol City have been drawn at home against Manchester United in the quarter finals of the Carabao Cup.

City are the only team from outside the Premier League who are still in the competition and will now face the Red Devils at Ashton Gate.

The West Country side booked their place in the quarter finals with a 4-1 win over Crystal Palace in the round of 16.
