Gold Cup Day at the Cheltenham Festival
Victory for Dorset trainer at big Boxing Day race
Dorset trainer Colin Tizzard has claimed a second consecutive success at the Boxing Day King George VI Chase at Kempton. Jockey Tom Scudamore brought Thistlecrack home to an easy victory ahead of last year's winner Cue Card, also from Tizzard's Milborne Port stable.
Tizzard says Thistlecrack is likely to be entered for the Cheltenham Festival in March - but not for the Gold Cup. But he said Cue Card was still possible as a runner in the big event.

Dorset trainer is favourite to win Boxing Day's big race
Dorset trainer Colin Tizzard is this afternoon looking to repeat his 2015 success at the King George VI Chase at Kempton - but the question is which horse will it be?
Cue Card was last year's winner and remains the apple of Tizzard's eye at his stable in Milborne Port. But this year there's a young pretender in the form of Thistlecrack, also trained by Tizzard.
The race at 3.15pm is being billed as the most anticipated jump racing event in seasons.
