Pride of Britain West Country Winner - Matt Way

All week we've been hearing the incredible stories of our Pride of Britain finalists, who've been nominated in the regional fundraiser of the year category.

We asked for your nominations for people in our region that go the extra mile to help others and raise money for charity.

This year's winner is Matt Way who organised the Joe Way Paddle For Life for the past decade in memory of his son.

He'll be heading to the glitzy Daily Mirror Pride of Britain awards later this month. Take a look at the moment he found out below:
