Murder investigation after man's body discovered in Cornwall home

A murder investigation has been launched after a man's body was found at a house in Cornwall.

Emergency crews were called to the Launceston home at around 1.10pm on March 9 after concerns were raised about the man.

A 27-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder.

Officers are appealing for anyone who may have information which may assist with the enquiry to contact them.

A cordon remains in place around the scene while a forensic examination is carried and house-to-house enquiries are being conducted.

Crews tackle huge industrial estate fire

Firefighters spent more than four hours battling a huge blaze at an industrial estate overnight.

The fire broke out 10.10pm on Newport Industrial Estate in Lauceston and crews were able to extinguish the fire by 2.10am.
