Plymouth's biggest music event of the year MTV Crashes kicks off tonight on the Hoe.

Tinie Tempah and Little Mix have both been confirmed for the first night of the two-day music festival - the second night is a Club MTV special.

35,000 people are expected on the Hoe for the sold-out event, which will be broadcast around the world.

MTV Crashes Plymouth is going to be awesome. It’s so beautiful down there. I can’t wait to get out there and perform by the sea this summertime.

It’s going to be a wicked show!

It's part of 'Forest Live' - a programme organised by the Forestry Commission. Money raised goes towards protecting rare trees.

Perrie Edwards from Little Mix said “We’re really excited to be performing at Westonbirt Arboretum this summer and can’t wait to see all our Mixers in the crowd.”

Tickets go on sale at 9am this Friday.
