A 64 year old man received "nasty facial injuries" after an assault in a town in Wiltshire.

It happened on Sunday at around 7pm outside a property on Bath Road in Cricklade.

Police say there was an altercation between a 64-year-old man and a young man, believed to be in his teens.

The victim sustained an injury to his eye and was taken to hospital.

He was very shaken by the attack. I am appealing for the help of the community and would like to hear from anyone who may have seen what happened.

Hunt for two men after attempted sexual assault - public warned to be vigilant

A warning has been issued after two men tried to sexually assault a woman in broad daylight.

It happened in Exeter between 1:40pm and 2:00pm on Thursday (3 Nov).

A woman was approached by two male strangers, both dressed in black with black gloves, who then attempted to sexually assault her in a lane which runs between Bathern Road and Cumberland Drive.

The woman managed to fight them off and the men ran away.

Police are asking for witnesses and would like to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time, who saw anything suspicious, or who owns home CCTV systems or ‘Dash-Cams’ in their vehicles, which were parked in the area.

Police are appealing after a 13-year-old girl and a woman were sexually assaulted at Bristol's Cribbs Causeway Mall.

Police say both were attacked by the same man, at separate times in the Superdry store on Sunday 16th August.

Anyone with information should contact Avon and Somerset Police on 101, quoting crime reference number 90223/15.

The suspect is described as having a dark complexion, dark hair and wearing a light shirt, beige chinos and black shoes.
