Police in Truro have been called to a school after reports of a student bringing in a knife.
Penair School sent a message to parents of its pupils to inform them of an incident.
Devon and Cornwall Police say officers were contacted at around 1.50pm today after reports that a pupil had brought in a knife.
Police say no threat was made and the knife is now with staff.
Local officers are in attendance at the scene.
