The council leader says no concerns were raised by the aviation authority despite a report stating spectators "could have been killed".

Melissa Quinn joined Spaceport Cornwall in 2014 and led the team through the UK's first ever space launch.

The company has decided to pause all operations from today after the firm's first satellite mission from UK soil failed to reach orbit earlier this year.
